Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what Zagwa LLC (d/b/a Expresstimates) ("we", "us") collects when you use Expresstimates (expresstimates.com), how we use and share it, and your choices. It is written to reflect how the Service actually works.

1. Information we collect

When you place an order we collect:

• Your email address — to send your report and order updates.
• The property address you enter.
• The inspection report (PDF) you upload, and any listing description you paste.
• Order and payment metadata — a job reference, timestamps, and a Stripe session identifier (not your card number).

The PDF and address are used to generate intermediate working files (extracted text, page images, research data) and your finished report, all stored with your order.

2. How we use it

• To produce, review (human QA), and deliver your report.
• To process your payment and prevent fraud.
• To respond to your support requests.
• To maintain, secure, and improve the Service (including with de-identified or aggregated data).

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

3. Service providers we share with

We share data with the following providers only as needed to deliver the Service:

Each provider handles data under its own terms and privacy policy. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights.

4. AI processing & your uploaded PDF

Producing your report requires sending the contents of your uploaded inspection PDF (its text and page images) to AI providers (see above). An inspection report can contain personal information about people other than you — for example, an inspector's name and license number, or an occupant's or owner's name. If you do not want such information processed, please redact it from the PDF before uploading. We instruct our providers to process this data only to deliver the Service.

5. Payment data

Payments are handled by Stripe on Stripe-hosted checkout pages. We never see or store your full card number, expiry, or security code. We retain only a Stripe reference and your payment status. Your email and the property address are visible to us and to Stripe in connection with the transaction.

6. Cookies & tracking

The Expresstimates site does not use cookies, analytics, advertising pixels, or third-party tracking scripts. (Stripe's own checkout pages may use cookies under Stripe's policy.)

7. Data retention & deletion

We currently retain your order data — including the uploaded PDF and the generated report — until you ask us to delete it, so we can re-send your report and provide support. You can request deletion at any time by emailing guesstimates@zagwa.net with your order reference; we will delete your order materials within a reasonable period, except where we must keep limited records (e.g. for tax or legal compliance). Note that data already shared with the providers above is subject to their retention practices.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect your data and limit access to it. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your rights

You may ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information associated with your order by contacting us at guesstimates@zagwa.net. We will respond consistent with applicable law and may need to verify your identity.

10. California privacy rights (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request access to or deletion of it, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. The categories we collect are described in Section 1 (identifiers such as email; the property address; the contents of your uploaded documents; and commercial/transaction information). We do not "sell" or "share" personal information as those terms are defined under California law, and we do not use it for cross-context behavioral advertising. 11. Children

The Service is intended for adults (18+) and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a new effective date.
